Landscape Series: The Dawn

Some shots from my balcony at dawn. I waited for few days to get this shots, waiting for the right moment. There were days were just too cloudy, days with no clouds at all. The cloud pattern do play it roles in creating dramatic effect through the lenses straight to the image sensor.

This splendid hour does not last long for a photo-shooting session. Sometimes it may last for 20 minutes or lesser depending the sunrise time. I would say, the best times are about 15 minutes before sunrise where the transition from night to day creates the beautiful shades of yellow, orange, blue and blackish blue at the edge of the night sky.

My best buddy (its the only widest angle lens I have anyway) for this dawn-job is always Canon EF-17-40mm f4.0L USM , Mr. El-cheapo Tripod and Ms. RC-6 wireless remote. Here are some my photos.

Bungagraphy - More Bunga....

More bunga.. Some local flowers.. I wish I had the chance to travel to Japan for Sakura blossom and Nederland for Tulips. But for now... time to practice more Bungagraphy skills. Here some from my mom's garden back home in Taiping.  But sorry.. I barely know the species..

Bungagraphy Part IV: Sun Flower

More bunga...Sun Flower this time fresh from Cameron Highlands. Still I don't own any macro lenses and these were using the kit lens, Canon-EF-S-18-135mm-f-3.5-5.6-IS. It doesn't really produce any macro works but the image quality with support from image stabilizer makes hand held flower shooting lot easier. Here are the pics.

Bungagraphy Part III: Insects @ work

I guess a macro lens is a must for me to buy but ain't having enough budget yet. Off course my wish list is this   glass EF 100mm f2.8L , market price is floating around RM2.8k ~RM3k (USD800~1k). Well, I'll keep shooting with whatever I have for time being though.. Enjoy the pics.

Bungagraphy Part II : Roses, Mawar , ばら
